At Least 1 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Collision on San Diego (5) Freeway Monday
Oceanside, CA (September 22, 2021) – On September 20, Monday, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on the Interstate 5 in Oceanside.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a semi truck pulling a white trailer collided with a white Chevrolet Tahoe on the southbound lanes of I-5, also known as San Diego Freeway.

Shortly after 12:45 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to at least one person with injuries left at the scene. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.
The CHP dispatch mentioned the truck continued driving following the crash. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car and truck accident in Oceanside happened.
