2-Vehicle Crash at Intersection Vista Way at I-5 Freeway/78 Freeway
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (May 18, 2022) — Two vehicles were involved in an Oceanside crash at Vista Way on ramp to the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway.
The collision happened at the eastbound lanes of Vista Way about 12:39 p.m. on May 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Toyota Corolla and a white Volkswagen collided.
The Volkswagen reportedly ran through a red traffic light and was T-boned by the Toyota Corolla as its driver turned left at the intersection.
There may have been a third vehicle involved, police said.
The airbags deployed in at least one of the vehicles.
Paramedics responded to the scene of the crash to help those hurt.
