1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Highway 78 Tuesday
Oceanside, CA (September 21, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred Tuesday night on State Route Highway 78, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Officials said a traffic collision took place in the eastbound side of the highway near College Boulevard. At this time, the exact number of vehicles involved in the unfortunate event remained unknown. Some witnesses claimed only one car was involved in the crash, while other said two.
Shortly after 10 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found one car rolled down the embankment. Authorities said the collision ejected one person onto the roadway.
