Major Injury Car and Truck Crash on San Diego Freeway
OCEANSIDE (May 29, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol group reported on Tuesday morning a traffic collision involving a semi truck on the Interstate 5 Freeway, also known as San Diego Freeway.
The CHP dispatch mentioned the truck crashed into a blue Ford Fusion on the interstate, just south of Cockleburr Road. Two other vehicles reportedly pulled out at the location but their roles in the crash were unclear.
When emergency teams arrived at the scene, shortly after 6:09 a.m., they found a vehicle overturned onto its side in the right-hand embankment of the freeway. Primary reports indicated that vehicle was traveling erratically in the area prior to the accident.

Officials mentioned at least one person suffered major injuries in the wreck. No additional details were released on the other parties involved in the accident.
