OCOTILLO, Calif. (June 14, 2018) — Two people were injured Thursday morning in a collision between a large cargo van and a Jeep on Highway 8, just west of Ocotillo and Coyote Wells, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash took place about 8:09 a.m. this morning. A white Ford van and a blue Jeep collided, causing the Jeep to overturn onto its side and trapping a man inside. A man and woman were treated by paramedics at the scene, but it’s unknown if either of them were hospitalized.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the crash.
A full investigation into liability is underway by police.

It is unknown at this time who is going to be held responsible for this collision.
