Motorcyclist Killed in Ocotillo Crash at State Route 98 and Imperial Highway
OCOTILLO, CA (January 16, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist at State Route 98 and Imperial Highway in Ocotillo.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:35 p.m.
CHP said a white Subaru Outback and the motorcycle rider collided in Ocotillo. They crashed on State Route 98 at the intersection with Imperial Highway,

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that the motorcyclist died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stayed following the wreck.
Officers then forced the area of State Route 98 and Imperial Highway to shut down after the incident. The cause of the fatal Ocotillo crash is still under investigation.
