
Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash on Euclid Street in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, Calif. (August 9, 2023) — Garden Grove Police Officer Han Cho was riding home on his motorcycle Monday when he collided with a car at Euclid Street and Glenoaks Avenue in Anaheim.
The off-duty police officer died at the hospital following the two-vehicle crash around 3 p.m. on August 7th, according to the Orange County Register.
Corporal Han Cho was riding a motorcycle when the bike and a silver Toyota Prius collided due to unknown circumstances. The car’s rear, driver’s side door had damage and the motorcyclist was thrown off the bike.

Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man to UCI Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
Also, the driver from the car became trapped in their vehicle, but was freed and taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Han Cho had been with the Garden Grove Police Department for 28 years and was assigned to the Neighborhood Traffic Unit.
Anaheim police are investigating the circumstances leading to the crash to determine fault and liability, but early indications are that DUI was not a factor for either of the motorists.
Finally, the case remains under investigation.
