Visalia, CA (June 21, 2021) – One police officer suffered injuries following a car crash in the area of Acequia Avenue and Locust Street Monday afternoon.

According to ABC30 News, a female party stole an ambulance left running at the scene of a medical aid call. Officers spotted the ambulance with its lights and sirens activated as it drove away from the intersection of Noble Avenue and Tipton Street.

Our sources indicated police launched a pursuit on the suspect. The chase came to a stop after the ambulance collided with a patrol car, and another ambulance.
