2 Parties Taken to Hospital
SAN BERNARDINO, California (August 21, 2016) – A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer sustained injuries as a result of a road accident on Interstate 215 freeway near Washington Street, according to an article by The Sun.
The incident happened on August 19, Friday at around 3:56 p.m.
In detail, the article mentioned an officer was trying to do an enforcement stop on a motorcyclist that was traveling southbound. When suddenly, the motorcyclist being stopped collided with the back of a pickup truck. That collision somehow caused the officer to crash.
The force from the impact resulted in the officer suffering in injuries. He was taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital for proper treatment. The other motorcycle rider was also transported to a medical facility.
Investigation is underway to determine charges and liabilities.
