1 Injured in Oildale Crash at Ray Street and McCray Street
OILDALE, CA (June 15, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Ray Street and McCray Street in Oildale.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 5:09 p.m.
CHP said two 4-door sedans, colored blue and burgundy respectively, collided for an unknown reason in Oildale. The two cars crashed at the intersection of Ray Street and McCray Street.
2 Cars Collide in Oildale
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Adventist Health Bakersfield for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Ray and McCray streets to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Oildale crash.
