1 Seriously Injured in Oildale Crash on Charleston Drive Near China Grade Loop
OILDALE, CA (July 8, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Charleston Drive in Oildale.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:40 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Oildale. They crashed at 2313 Charleston Drive near China Grade Loop.
2 Cars Collide in Oildale
The incident log described the cars involved as a silver sedan and a silver GMC pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Charleston Drive to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Oildale crash.
