Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at Airport and Olive Drive Friday
Oildale, CA (August 23, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Airport and Olive Drive, the KGET News reported.
On August 20, Friday, a vehicle struck an individual near the corner of Airport and Olive Drive in Oildale. Preliminary investigation revealed the female driver was heading south on Airport Drive when the collision happened.
Our sources indicated the unfortunate event took place at about 8:40 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Oildale, August 20
When emergency teams arrived at the site, they found the male pedestrian with serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures but the man succumbed to his injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time liability in the deadly pedestrian accident at Airport and Olive Drive in Oildale.
