1 Killed in Collision at Norris Road and Howard Avenue Friday
Oildale, CA (October 22, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Norris Road and Howard Avenue Friday night.
The KGET News reported a car crash took place at the intersection in Oildale around 7 p.m. Per article published online, a vehicle involved in the mishap careened across all the traffic lanes and jumped onto the curb.
Officials said the vehicle struck a pedestrian standing near the intersection of Norris Road and Howard Avenue.
Passenger Hospitalized After Car accident in Oildale, October 22
Shortly after 7 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the unconscious pedestrian; but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate exactly how and why the deadly pedestrian accident in Oildale.
