1 Injured in Oildale Hit-and-Run Crash on Manor Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 27, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person along Manor Street in Oildale last week.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Friday afternoon, January 22. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:07 p.m.
According to their dispatch, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at 2313 Manor Street between China Grade Loop and Norris Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene. They found a victim who suffered facial injuries a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and soon fled the area. Officers forced the road to briefly shut down following the accident.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run motorist.
