2-Vehicle Crash on Creek Road in Ojai
OJAI, Calif. (April 26, 2023) — A two-vehicle Ojai car accident happened Wednesday on Creek Road, between Oak Knoll Road and Fraser Road.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 11:26 a.m. on April 26th in front of 10973 Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Prior to the crash, the driver of a 2021 Subaru Forester was seen driving recklessly and swerving back and forth from the road into the gravel shoulder, the CHP report said. The vehicle reportedly crossed over the double yellow lanes at a curve in Creek Road and into the path of a Volvo XC90 SUV. The Subaru overturned, but landed off the roadway on its wheels and suffered major front-end damage. Both vehicles had their airbags deployed in the crash.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the Ojai car accident, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are piecing together witness and driver statements to determine fault for the collision.
