2 Injured in Ojai Head-on Crash at Happy Valley School Road and Highway 150

OJAI (January 2, 2018) – A major injury traffic collision took place at Happy Valley School Road and Highway 150 Tuesday morning, according to Ventura County Star.

As per the article, the incident occurred at 7:45 a.m.

A sedan traveling westbound on Highway 150 crashed head-on into a midsize SUV headed east on the highway. Investigators believed the sedan crossed into the eastbound lanes as it negotiated a curve in the road, then struck the SUV in the intersection.

Responding paramedics immediately attended to two drivers who were injured upon impact. The driver of the sedan, a 24-year-old Fillmore man, reportedly suffered major injuries and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.

Meanwhile, medical records indicated that the driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries and was released at the scene.

The incident was under investigation by the Ventura area CHP who advised anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them at 662-2640.
