4 Hospitalized After Car Crash on Highway 44 Friday
Shasta, CA (May 15, 2021) – Several people suffered injuries following a car accident on State Route Highway 44 in Old Station on May 14, Friday.
According to KRCRTV, a Ford SUV overturned white traveling east on SR-44. The traffic collision took place happened near Old Station in Shasta County.
Major Injury Collision in Old Station, May 14
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 1:15 p.m. Our sources indicated as many as four people suffered injuries as a result of the incident. Due to the conditions of the victims, paramedics airlifted them to hospitals for treatment. The article published online indicated two parties with major injuries were taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding; while the other two received treatment at Mayers Memorial Hospital in Fall River.
Additional details on the car accident in Old Station remained undisclosed. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the collision happened.
