Olinda Limache-Abregu, 67, Killed in Perris Pedestrian Crash
PERRIS, CA (June 22, 2021) – A pedestrian crash killed Olinda Limache-Abregu near Rider Street and Redlands Avenue in Perris.
The sheriff’s department said the 67-year-old Moreno Valley woman died following the accident which occurred on Monday.
The incident happened when Olinda Limache-Abregu was walking along a street in Perris. For an unknown reason, a blue 2003 Honda CRV struck her.
Woman Hit by Car Near Rider and Redlands
The car hit the victim in the area of Rider Street and Redlands Avenue. The Press Enterprise wrote that the collision took place on June 21 at about 11 a.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found her down on the road. Officers determined that Olinda Limache-Abregu sustained major injuries as a result of the pedestrian crash.
She died at the scene. Meanwhile, deputies affirmed that the driver of the Honda stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the woman.
