Woman Driver Involved in Two Collisions
OLIVEHURST, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2025) — A major crash in Olivehurst happened Monday afternoon on Feather River Boulevard and Virginia Avenue.
The drivers of a silver SUV and a white sedan collided around 3:57 p.m. on Jan. 6th at the Olivehurst intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the vehicles went off the roadway and crashed into a fence and both vehicles wound up in the front yard of a home.
Yuba County Sheriff’s Office responded and requested an ambulance for at least one person who was injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, investigators reported there were actually two traffic accidents involving the same driver. A female driver from one of the vehicles fled an earlier crash about a mile away on Feather River Boulevard at Alicia Avenue. There are no further details on that collision.
Finally, tow trucks removed the SUV and sedan that crashed at Virginia Avenue due to major front-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case, but it’s unknown if there were any arrests at this time.
