2-Vehicle Collision at Olivehurst Intersection
OLIVEHURST, Calif. (May 29, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash in Olivehurst happened Wednesday morning at Powerline Road and McGowan Parkway.
The collision occurred in front of the Dollar General Store at around 11:30 a.m. on May 29th, just west of Highway 70, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white truck and a blue Nissan Altima were involved. The CHP report stated the truck driver allegedly drove through a stop sign and collided with the Nissan.
The Nissan sustained major front-end damage in the collision.
Paramedics responded to treat at least one person with minor injuries, but it’s unknown if the person or people were taken to a hospital.
Investigators continue to work on the case and will assign fault to the driver who caused the crash.
