Woman, 54, Killed in Olivehurst Hit-and-Run on Powerline Road Near 7th Avenue
OLIVEHURST, CA (October 11, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash on Powerline Road in Olivehurst.
The incident happened on October 10 when a vehicle was going south on Powerline Road near 7th Avenue in Olivehurst. For an an unknown reason, the driver struck a female pedestrian in the area.

The California Highway Patrol said the motorist hit the 54-year-old woman near the Yuba County Airport. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found the victim left lying on the ground and suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the suspect did not stop to help and then fled southbound on Powerline Road.
Officers described the vehicle as a small gray truck with a lift kit. Anyone with information can call the CHP office at (530)-674-5141.
