At Least 1 Hurt in Car Crash on Forty Mile Road Tuesday
Olivehurst, CA (September 16, 2020) – Injuries were reported following a suspected hit-and-run collision on Forty Mile Road Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed a vehicle of unknown make and model struck a security guard in the 3317 block of Forty Mile Road. The accident took place in the vicinity of Hard Rock Casino.
Officials confirmed the security guard sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned the driver of the vehicle that hit the victim fled the scene. Details on the hit-and-run suspect have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to determine several factors surrounding the incident.
