Minor Injury Crash in Olivehurst on McGowen Parkway
OLIVEHURST, Calif. (Dec. 13, 2023) — A pedestrian accident happened Wednesday morning at McGowen Parkway and Powerline Road in Olivehurst.
The collision occurred at around 7:06 a.m. on Dec. 13th, just west of Highway 70, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a female driver struck the male pedestrian who was standing in the roadway, the report said. The driver stopped and someone called 911 for help.
Paramedics responded to the scene and treated the pedestrian who sustained minor injuries, but it’s unknown if they transported him to a hospital for further treatment. The victim’s age and name were not released at this time.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the cause of the Olivehurst pedestrian accident on McGowen Parkway as well as liability. Finally, it’s unknown if any charges or citations will be filed against the driver.
