Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Olympia Crash at Zayante Road and Zayante School
OLYMPIA, CA (March 6, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Zayante Road and Zayante School Road in Olympia.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 9:30 a.m.
CHP said a gray Toyota RAV and the rider of a black motorcycle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Zayante Road and Zayante School Road in Olympia.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Felton. They found the motorcyclist down in the middle of the roadway as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. The cause of the Olympia crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Zayante Road and Zayante School Road to shut down after the wreck.
