Olympic Valley Crash State Route 89, Squaw Valley Road (May 10)

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. (May 10, 2022) – An Olympic Valley crash involving three motorists happened Tuesday morning on State Route 89 (Highway 89) near Squaw Valley Road.

The collision occurred about 8:46 a.m. on May 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the vehicles blocked both the north and southbound lanes of the highway.

Paramedics responded and transported one or two people to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The CHP report provides no further information about those hurt.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed all three vehicles from the scene.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Olympic Valley crash.
