Motorcyclist Killed in Olympic Valley Crash Near Lanny Lane and Russell Road
PLACER COUNTY, CA (April 13, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash near Lanny Lane and Russell Road in Olympic Valley.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the tragic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:25 p.m.
According to their report log, the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed near Lanny Lane and Russell Road in Olympic Valley.
Motorcycle Accident in Placer County Tuesday
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Squaw Valley Road. They found the motorcyclist down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel confirmed that the patient later died. The name of the deceased individual remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other party sustained injuries upon impact. Officials forced the roadway to shut down for a time following the Olympic Valley crash.
The cause of the fatal wreck is still under investigation.
