PERRIS, California (January 26, 2016) — Five men were shot and one died early Monday morning by a gunman at a business in the 100 block of South D Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Police responded to the 911 call about 1 a.m. in the morning involving a shooting at the business here and found five male victims who had been shot. One of the victims died of their injuries at the scene, two were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries and two had minor injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Perris Police Department and the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit.
