LONG BEACH, California (April 26, 2016) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on the 710 Freeway Tuesday, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. (map)
The collision was reported at 5:53 p.m., in the southbound lanes of the freeway, just south of West Del Amo Boulevard.
As per the incident log, Long Beach Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found a woman in a silver Toyota sedan that was stalled in the No. 1 lane following the crash. The victim was injured and was then transported to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
The name of the patient and the extent of the injuries she sustained remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the dispatch did not include the description of the hit-and-run motorist. The investigation is ongoing.
