Car Hits Pole
The crash took place around 4:18 p.m., north of Highway 126 and just west of the city limits.
As per the article, a preliminary investigation conducted by California Highway Patrol showed that a gray BMW slammed into an Edison pole. The impact caused a power outage in the area.
One occupant in the car was hurt and was taken to the nearby hospital for treatment. KTVA did not mention the extent of injuries sustained by the victim and the name of the patient.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that another person fled the scene. That involved party was described as a Hispanic male around 25 years old with short hair, last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
Authorities will continue to investigate to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
