BAY POINT, Contra Costa County — According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a hit-and-run driver left one person injured at Willow Pass Road and Weldon Street on March 6.
The accident was logged at precisely 5:33 p.m.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly and provided treatment to at least one injured person. Meanwhile, officials have yet to confirm the number of involved parties.
At 6:39 p.m., the CHP mentioned in the dispatch the involvement of a minivan. Unfortunately, it was not clear whether the van was occupied by the suspect, or the victim.
Due to several factors surrounding the hit-and-run accident remain unclear, investigation is ongoing.
