One Injured in Crash on Oildale Drive, Belle Avenue on May 14

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(May 15, 2025) — One person was injured Wednesday night in a crash involving a bike or motorcycle on Oildale Drive near Belle Avenue in Oildale, Kern County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person was seriously injured in the collision around 8:40 p.m. on May 14th in the 500 block of Oildale Drive.

A driver in an SUV struck a person riding either a bicycle or a motorcycle and the person became trapped underneath the vehicle.

Paramedics responded and transported the injured person to a hospital in unknown condition. Police closed down the roadway to conduct an investigation into what happened.
