2-Vehicle Collision at Fresno Intersection
FRESNO, Calif. (June 24, 2024) — At least one person was injured early Monday in a Fresno car accident on Monday at East Jensen Avenue and South Sunnyside Avenue.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:15 a.m. on June 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported one of the vehicles possibly hit a curb prior to the collision. The drivers of a red Cadillac CTS and a white sedan were involved. One of the vehicles also collided into a PG&E powerline pole and possibly caught on fire during the crash.
Paramedics responded and rushed one person by ground ambulance to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
A tow truck removed the damaged Cadillac from the crash scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Fresno accident on Jensen Avenue.
