One Killed, 3 Injured in Castaic Crash at Hasley Canyon Road

CASTAIC, Calif. (June 10, 2025) – One person died in a Castaic crash Monday afternoon after a car with four people aboard crashed into a tree on Hasley Canyon Road, the California Highway Patrol reported today.

CHP officers responded to the scene of the accident at 4:30 p.m. on June 9th at Sloan Canyon Road. The four occupants were trapped inside the vehicle after its driver veered off the road, the CHP said.

Upon arrival, paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed one person deceased, but three others were transported to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The identity of the person who died was not released.
