One Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Heacock Street in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2026) – One person died early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle car accident on Heacock Street in Moreno Valley.

The crash was reported on Oct. 6th around 3:10 a.m. at the intersection with Poppystone Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Station.

One person suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. That person’s identity will be released after relatives have been notified.

Meanwhile, the report did not mention how many others were injured in the collision.

Finally, police closed down Heacock Street between John F. Kennedy Drive and Genitan Avenue to conduct a traffic investigation.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
