One Killed in Crash on 710 Freeway at Gerald Desmond Bridge in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (June 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash Monday night left one person dead on the Long Beach (710) Freeway at the Gerald Desmond Bridge in Long Beach.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the crash scene around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, June 9th where they located two vehicles involved in the collision.
Meanwhile, paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department were also sent to the crash scene where they pronounced one person dead. However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner has not released the victim’s name.
The CHP issued a SigAlert and closed down the southbound lanes of the I-710 Freeway near the bridge for roughly two hours.
