One Killed 2-Vehicle Crash Near Chevoit Road

Victorville, CA (May 14, 2025) — A deadly rollover collision claimed one life Tuesday night on Sheep Creek Road and Chevoit Road in Victorville, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The fatal crash occurred around 8:49 p.m. on May 13th at the Victorville intersection in San Bernardino County.

A San Bernardino Sheriff’s deputy was the first to arrive on the scene and discovered the severe traffic collision. The SUV was overturned and blocking both lanes, and the sedan had major front-end damage.

Two-Vehicle Collision at Victorville Intersection

CHP dispatch logs indicate that the incident was quickly escalated to a fatal traffic collision classification. Emergency responders, including medical units and multiple tow trucks, were called to the site. Victor Valley Towing and Desert Valley Towing were both dispatched to handle the vehicle recovery and evidence preservation.

The identity of the person who died was not released pending notification of the next of kin. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
