COACHELLA, California (October 23, 2014) — Two people were injured Wednesday night when a car and tractor collided on Avenue 50 at Fillmore Street, according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The driver of a gray Honda was heading westbound on Avenue 50 when it collided with a tractor about 7:01 p.m. A passenger in the car suffered major injuries in the crash and the two drivers of the car and tractor suffered minor injuries. Paramedics responded and transported the passenger to a local hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash to determine liability.
