ONTARIO, California (July 9, 2014) – A driver was injured Wednesday morning in a collision between a pickup and a sedan on the eastbound State Route 60 Freeway at the E. Vineyard Avenue on ramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers reported a man was bleeding from his hand and suffered a head injury in the 7:46 a.m. crash between the drivers of a white Dodge Intrepid and a white Ford pickup truck. The Ontario Fire Department responded with paramedics to transport the injured man to a nearby hospital. They closed down the Vineyard on ramp to the freeway to assist those involved in the crash.
Police issued a SigAlert for the crash and are heading up an investigation into the accident.
“People who are injured in a car accident often wonder if they need an attorney to help them file a claim,” said Attorney James Johnson. “But those who attempt to handle their own case quickly learn that negotiating with the insurance company is complicated and difficult.”
