ONTARIO, California (June 9, 2014) — Two drivers collided Monday afternoon in a crash on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway at the 4th Street off ramp, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 2:08 p.m., CHP officers responded to the accident involving four injured people who were riding in a red Volkswagen Passat that was allegedly struck by the driver of a green sedan, the report said. Paramedics responded to the crash that was blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 3 lanes and had to close down the 4th Street off ramp temporarily.
Four people were treated and or transported to hospitals with injuries.
“Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine who is liable,” said Attorney James Johnson.
