Bicycle Rider Struck by Pickup Truck in Ontario
ONTARIO, Calif. (August 22, 2022) — An Ontario bicycle accident happened Monday morning at 4th Street and the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway.
The crash occurred about 7:50 a.m. on August 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The bicyclist was reportedly crossing the street in front of the 4th Street on ramp. A driver in a pickup truck was entering the on ramp and hit the woman on the bicycle.
The Ontario Police Department responded and called for paramedics to assisted the injured bicycle rider. The woman was bleeding from her head following the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
