ONTARIO, California (September 23, 2014) — A boy was killed Saturday afternoon when the car he was riding in was rear-ended by another driver in the southbound lanes of the Interstate 15 Freeway at the interchange with the Interstate 60 Freeway, according to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
About 1:55 p.m., CHP officers responded to the collision where a stopped vehicle in the southbound lanes was hit by another car. Paramedics responded and transported a boy by ambulance to Kaiser Ontario where he later died of his injuries.
The CHP are investigating the crash and will issue a report with their findings.
“My sincere condolences go out to the family of this boy as they have suffered a tremendous loss,” said Attorney James Johnson.
