ONTARIO, Calif. (March 8, 2023) — A two-vehicle Ontario car accident on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway happened Wednesday morning just north of the I-10 Freeway.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 8 a.m. on March 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a cargo truck and a silver 4-door sedan were involved. One of the vehicles overturned in the No. 1 lane of the freeway.
A driver in a silver Scion stopped to help those involved until the Ontario Fire Department arrived on the scene.
The vehicles were also blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway.
Police issued a SigAlert and requested a tow truck respond to remove the overturned vehicle from the roadway.
Meanwhile, paramedics noted there were minor injuries and at least one person appeared to be pretty “shaken up” after the crash.
The cause of the crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway in Ontario remains under investigation.
