1 Seriously Injured in Ontario Car Crash on 10 Freeway at Mountain Avenue
ONTARIO, CA (August 21, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on the 10 Freeway in Ontario.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:10 a.m. near the city of Upland.
According to CHP, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Ontario. They crashed on the eastbound 10 Freeway at the Mountain Avenue on-ramp.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described two of the cars involved as a gray Toyota Tacoma and a white Audi. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the name of the patient and her condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at Mountain Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Ontario crash.
