ONTARIO, California (September 2, 2015) — A driver suffered injuries in a crash with a hit-and-run driver of a semi-tractor trailer truck on the westbound State Route 60 Pomona Freeway at Archibald Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The traffic accident was reported at 5:57 a.m. when the driver of a silver Nissan Sentra called police as they attempted to follow the suspect off the freeway. The truck exited the freeway at Archibald Avenue or Haven, but the caller’s vehicle became disabled. Paramedics with the Ontario Fire Department were sent to the scene to help the injured driver who suffered back, neck and knee injuries in the crash.
The CHP is heading up an investigation and they are attempting to locate the hit-and-run driver who was involved in the crash.
