Man, 25; and Woman, 33, Killed in Ontario Crash on 60 Freeway
ONTARIO (December 30, 2018) – Two were killed after a traffic collision along the 60 Freeway on Saturday night, according to KTLA and The Press Enterprise.
The accident occurred on December 29 shortly before 8:40 p.m., east of Archibald Avenue.
As per the reports, witnesses told California Highway Patrol that a white 1999 Volkswagen Jetta was going west on the 60 freeway when it merged from the No. 3 to the No. 4 lane.
The car then abruptly turned right crossing the No 5 lane and left the roadway. The Jetta became airborne and ultimately slammed into a palm tree.

The car ended up on its wheels at the bottom of the embankment. It was allegedly traveling at approximately 80 mph prior to impact.
CHP affirmed that the male driver was ejected from the car as a result of the crash. Both the motorist and his female passenger died at the scene.
Their names have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin, but officials described them as a 25-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
