At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near San Bernardino (10) Freeway Saturday
Ontario, CA (March 12, 2022) – A deadly traffic accident occurred early Saturday on Interstate 15, also known as Ontario Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a vehicle was spotted making a U-turn on the freeway. Officials said the car successfully made the turn, and started driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-15.
When the wrong-way motorist approached the area near San Bernardino Freeway, it collided head-on into one or more vehicles. First responders found at the scene a gray Chevrolet Malibu, a black SUV, and a Nissan Sentra. Due to the force from the impact, all automobiles sustained major damages.

The CHP logged the case Saturday around 3:07 a.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered to all parties involved in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities sadly confirmed one person died in the accident. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the unfortunate event on Interstate 15 in Ontario.
