1 Killed in Collision on Interstate 60 Freeway
Ontario, CA (October 15, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred in the area of Interstate 60 Freeway and Grove Avenue.
Our sources indicated a semi truck and an SUV crashed into each other in the eastbound side of I-60 Freeway. Due to the force from the impact, the passenger vehicle ended up pinned underneath the big rig.
Deadly Traffic Accident Near Grove Avenue in Ontario
Shortly after 3:23 a.m., rescue teams arrived on the freeway near Grove Avenue. The CHP log mentioned paramedics found one person unconscious. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Police shut down the freeway at Grove Avenue to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened on 60 Freeway in Ontario.
