Motorcycle Rider, Lexus Crash on 60 Freeway
ONTARIO, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2023) — A motorcycle rider was injured in an Ontario car accident on the 60 Freeway on Tuesday morning, just east of Euclid Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound HOV and No. 1 lanes around 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The motorcyclist collided with a white Lexus due to unknown circumstances. The woman driving the Lexus pulled to the right shoulder and told authorities the bike crashed into her vehicle. However, it’s unknown at this time if the car changed lanes in front of the motorcyclist and if the rider was splitting lanes. Police are investigating the circumstances and will take witness statements from bystanders who stopped.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but it’s unknown if the person was hospitalized at this time.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
