Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-10 Freeway
ONTARIO, Calif. (August 7, 2023) — An Ontario motorcycle accident involving a pickup truck happened Monday morning on the Interstate 10 Freeway, just west of Archibald Avenue.
The collision occurred in the eastbound HOV lane about 6:41 a.m. on August 7th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The rider went down in the carpool lane and wound up in the No. 1 lane. Meanwhile, the silver 2015 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck stopped behind the yellow Suzuki bike in the HOV lane. Paramedics with the Ontario Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash.
The motorcyclist was conscious and breathing following the collision. The person was transported to a Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident.
