ONTARIO: Motorcycle, Multi-Vehicle Crash 10 Freeway at Milliken Ave
ONTARIO, California (June 13, 2017) – A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning in a collision involving multiple vehicles on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Milliken Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 7:51 a.m. this morning. The rider went down in the No. 3 lane of the freeway. The report states a U-Haul may have struck the gold bike in the middle lanes, but it may have also collided with a gray Jaguar in the No. 2 lane and it may have rear-ended a 2013 Chevrolet Cruse.
The Ontario Fire Department responded to help those involved in the crash that was blocking the Nos. 3, 4 and 5 lanes of the freeway. The roadway was partially closed down to help those hurt in the crash and for the police investigation.
Police will interview all people involved or who witnessed this collision to find out the sequence of events so they may determine fault. They will also look at the evidence at the scene to help them solve the question of liability.
